Who should attend?
Individuals who will be living and working in another country or managing a culture-specific virtual team. We recommend our Developing Intercultural Competence course if you are not relocating or working in a specific cultural environment.
Learning Objectives
Course participants will:

- understand the influence of culture on behaviour
- communicate effectively in the target country
- identify and diagnose problems created by cultural differences
- develop strategies to avoid or overcome intercutlural challenges
- develop behaviours and attitudes to work effectively in an intercultural context
Methodology
Culture Specific Orientation is an interactive workshop based on adult education principles and led by one of our experienced trainers. The workshop includes a 2-hour personalized session with a Country Resource Expert (CRE). Each participant receives an electronic course package with country information kit, learning materials, case studies and job aids.
Duration
Culture Specific Orientation is a 1-day workshop. GM can adapt this course to meet the specific needs of your employees.
