How we can help
Working with your key personnel, Graybridge Malkam will develop a program framework for your organization and provide the tools to support the mentor and mentee throughout the program.
For the Mentor:
- Qualities of a good mentor (getting to know yourself – self-awareness test, characteristics of a good mentor, what kind of partner would be ideal).
- What it means to be a mentor (preparing to be a mentor, roles and responsibilities, what can a mentor contribute, examples of mentor relationships, boundaries to the mentoring relationship (i.e. what not to include), logistics, etc.
- Program framework customized to your organization (essential components of the program, reporting processes, etc.).
- Program evaluation methods and requirements (how to agree on expectations for the mentoring relationships, and how to jointly assess progress, what to evaluate, when, what constitutes success, etc.).
- Appropriate communication and communications styles
For the Mentee:
- Role and responsibilities (preparing to be mentored).
- What it means to be a mentee? (Making an investment in oneself, the power issue, what type of partner would be ideal for you).
- Essential skills (getting to know yourself and others (self-awareness test).
- Program framework customized to your organization (the essential components of the program, success criteria).
- Mentor-mentee relationship.
- Program evaluation methods and requirements (how to agree on expectations for the mentoring relationships, what to evaluate, when, what constitutes success, etc.).
