Diversity Calendar 2025

While we do recognize that this cannot be a comprehensive list, we hope to assist with reflection upon and celebration of the diversity and richness of the world’s cultures. The calendar lists holy days, cultural festivals, national heritage days, history months, and UN days, etc. Important religious days are also highlighted for scheduling purposes.

January 2025

January 1   New Year's Day – Canada and many other countries
This is the celebration of the New Year according to the Western calendar.

White Paper - Unconscious Bias

Being aware of the existence and implications of unconscious bias is a key step to advancing in the journey of diversity and inclusion. It is particularly important to be aware of unconscious bias and successfully manage it as it can cause/lead to decisions proved to be unfounded, and can skew our actions based on irrational judgments. It has the potential to easily de-rail a career, hurt brands and interfere with trusting, productive relationships. This paper will explore unconscious bias to help us begin to “know what we don’t know” about our biases based on findings from neuroscience.
